Russia’s Kamaz sees sales rising to 36,000 trucks in 2017
MOSCOW, Oct 12 (PRIME) -- Russia’s major truck maker Kamaz plans to increase sales in the country and abroad to 36,000 vehicles in 2017 from 32,000 planned for 2016, CEO Sergei Kogogin told reporters on Wednesday on the sidelines of a Russia Calling! Forum.
But the company may even exceed the plan for 2016 and sell 34,000 trucks this year, he said.
“Initially, we’ve planned 32,000 this year. But now we see that we may attain sales of 34,000 vehicles. But everything will depend on transportation…But in 2017 we forecast sales of 36,000 units, including exports,” he said.
